Jamie is a proven global business leader, with 25 years of market leading expertise in founding, leading turnarounds and ramping growth for numerous companies in domestic and international marketplaces. He is a serial entrepreneur, business builder of content driven, technology enabled businesses. Jamie has successfully transformed several companies into high growth recurring revenue firms with exceptional sales team cultures including Reputation Institute, JAZD Markets and Aberdeen Group. Jamie has extensive investment capital raising, M&A and exit transaction experience. He is frequently published and an active speaker on strategic global growth strategies for technology enabled companies
Rizal (“Riz”) Ahmed serves as SAPinsider’s Chief Event and Research Officer. In his 27 years with the company, he helped create and grow the SAP business from the beginning. Riz launched and managed SAPinsider’s first events and served as Editor in Chief SAPinsider’s flagship magazine. For the past several years he has worked to build the SAPinsider research organization, which publishes more than 30 reports per year. Additionally, he created the Technology Executive Forum, a subcommunity of leading CIOs’ and technology executives that run SAP. Riz leverages his passion and knowledge of content to invigorate and scale SAPinsider’s event business while expanding our overall research and content strategy. Prior to SAPinsider, Riz was a Research Associate with Forrester Research and a reporter for the Manila Times in the Philippines. Riz earned dual degrees from Dartmouth College in History and Economics.
Peter Thomas is an accomplished executive with domestic and international experience in operations, P&L oversight, and sales & marketing in both startups and growth organizations. Prior to joining SAPinsider, Peter was the founder and CEO and Averetek, the leading provider of channel marketing automation solutions for B2B technology companies. Peter is also the author of Marketing Multiplied: A real-world guide to channel marketing for beginners, practitioners, and executives. For more than 20 years, Peter has worked with leading brands to build and optimize their partner programs, improve partner retention and loyalty, and drive revenue. He is recognized as a leading expert in alliances, marketing, and channel strategy.
David Southwick is a high energy, results-oriented leader with a track record for growing global sales organizations. David’s background includes leading multiple companies’ growth journeys for SAAS, PAAS, community-based content, and market research firms. At SAPinsider, David leads the end-user membership and the SAP Partner vendor sales teams. Previous accomplishments include driving the growth of Forrester Research from a startup to a successful IPO to a 200M dominant brand. In addition, David was a key executive in leading the turnaround of the Aberdeen Group from 4M to 25M with more than 1,000 clients, resulting in a successful acquisition by Harte Hanks. David also headed international sales and marketing for the The Reptrak Company, growing revenues from $20M-$50M in less than 3 years.
Mark brings expertise in product & solution management, strategy & marketing, and experience in Financial Services, Retail, Hospitality, Automotive, High-Tech, Aerospace and Defense, and Industrial Manufacturing sectors. He combines his passion for team and talent development with a relentless focus on results to consistently deliver on commitments.
Tom is an independent financial consultant, assisting media-centric companies in developing their financial, operational, and organization strategies. He also has significant experience in acquisitions, divestments, and partnering with private equity firms. He is currently the CFO for SAPinsider. Previously, he was the interim CFO for Compliance Solutions Strategies, worldwide Executive VP and CFO for Questex LLC, Reed Exhibition Companies, and Imark Communications.
Melanie is an experienced Global Sales Executive with a demonstrated history of achieving sales targets, building new teams, and driving them to succeed, through a holistic selling approach while putting the customer needs first. She creates an exceptional employee experience that yields business results.
Shawn is an innovative sales and audience development management expert with over 12 years of professional experience in audience driven environments. He specializes in expanding digital and print product audiences, data analysis, audience profiling, email/direct mail marketing, networking, and social media marketing.
